Well, the news isn’t so good – my Rheumatoid Arthritis is about as bad as it has been. I have more places that are swollen and stiff. So I am to take Plaquenil along with the Methrotrexate and Sulfasalazine. This is pretty rotten.

But something unusual did happen at the lab – while taking blood for the ordinary blood tests, my blood squirted out around the needle. There was blood on the wall (it is a very small space), on the floor, on the lab tech, and on me. Something that doesn’t happen every day to me or the lab tech – thank goodness.

Oh well, the adventure continues.

Long time no post....
Well that's cause not much has changed with my rheumatoid arthritis. Biggest changes are my feet -- I now have swollen places on the balls of my feet. They hurt! What little I have been able to find indicates this is part of the RA. I go to the doctor next week, hopefully will find out more then.

This RA stuff just isn't fun -- seems like I keep finding new parts to hurt. ElaineH.
