Life with RA is not always bad ...

Some days it is very difficult making the hour commute to my office. Well, it is not so much the commute as it is getting out of the car. Nevertheless, I have much to be thankful for, even with RA. I have a friend that has RA and her hands are becoming deformed. The joints still work most of the time but she has bouts when her hands are so stiff they will not move. She is older than I am and has lived with RA a lot longer. When I saw her recently I was surprised at how much her hands had changed in the last six months.

I do not allow myself to dwell on what could be in my future, but dwell on the great things happening today. Today, I was able to dress myself, work a full day, and still type this ramble all with very little pain. Life with RA is not always bad.
